Meet George Lacy, Owner of Lacy Products and Services

My name is George Lacy, Jr. I’m a US Navy veteran and I’m married with 4 kids. I’m also an ordained minister as well as an instructor in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Paul Vunak. Additionally I’m a member of the Arnis Association International Inc..

I decided to start Lacy Products and Services because I believe that I am equipped to work with motivated individuals and small groups to teach them how to protect themselves and their loved ones.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Longwood University in 2003. I am an ordained minister who went to seminary and received a Masters of Divinity in 2009 (I was ordained in 2013 after a one-year internship with practical experience). I have been a minister for over a decade.

I also earned a Master of Arts in Literature from Liberty University in 2025. I am currently a high school English teacher at a Christian school in Richmond, Virginia, where I teach high school English, college composition, and Bible classes.

I’ve taught people of all ages in several different contexts over the years. It’s something that I love to do no matter what I’m teaching, whether it’s sports, history, literature, creative writing, political science, military skills, theology, it doesn’t matter, I just love to teach.

I know how to teach and I know that not everyone who wants to learn something learns best in traditional ways so it’s up to the teacher to take advantage of every tool to reach people with their subject matter.

Look, the bottom line is that I’m a real person, with a real family, with the same kinds of wants, needs, and obligations as you. I’m a little farther down the road than some of you, I’ve gained some training and experience, and now I desire to share those things with committed people.
